Introducing:  Dr. Margaret Jackson is a native of Portland, Maine. She left the state for undergraduate training in Biochemistry and English at University of Dallas in Texas where she discovered a love of wildflowers and road trips. She returned to New England for medical school at Tufts University in Boston. During medical school, she spent a clinical year working in Skowhegan and developed a deep appreciation for central Maine, where she picked up cross country skiing and connected with her family's roots in Madison and Anson. During residency in Family Medicine at Maine Medical Center, she kept her love of rural Maine, small town medicine and full-spectrum practice including obstetrics. Other interests include alternative medicine, reducing infant mortality in the state and substance abuse treatment. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hobbies such as hiking, gardening, knitting and spending time with her husband and their daughter. She is thrilled to be joining Waterville Family Practice!
She will begin seeing patients in November of this year and will be taking new patients!   Please call for details (207-873-1181) if you are interested in becoming a new patient.   We will be processing patients for Dr Jackson as early as September.
